Using Your LIFESABERS V2

LIFESABERS are designed to disappear into the display and let the blade do the talking. Take a minute to set things up and you’ll get the cleanest, most convincing result. And just so you know, NONE of our photos are edited, they’re takin on an iPhone 15 pro max. this is just how they look. It’s easy.

Start by hiding the cable. The flexible cotton wire is made to run neatly up a sleeve or under a cloak without fighting the pose. Once it’s in place, tuck the control box behind the figure, under a cape, or into the background of a diorama. Done properly, the electronics are completely hidden and the effect looks spot on.

To turn the lightsaber on or off, use the small push button on the control box. One press turns it on, one press turns it off. That’s it.

The indicator lights tell you what’s going on:

  • red light means the battery is charging
  • white light means the lightsaber is on
  • When the red light turns off, the battery is fully charged

You can leave the lightsaber on while it’s charging, which is handy for long display sessions or photography.

For photos, these work well in almost any lighting. In normal ambient light you’ll get a clean, realistic glow that still shows detail on the figure. In low light or complete darkness, the blade really comes alive and gives a much more dramatic, cinematic look. Dark backgrounds and side lighting usually work best.

Charging is done via USB-C. Use a standard 5V USB power source such as a phone charger, power bank, or computer port. Avoid fast chargers or high-voltage power supplies. Charge until the red light turns off.

Inside the unit is a small LiPo battery. Don’t open the enclosure, crush it, or expose it to water. Don’t leave it charging unattended for long periods, and stop using it if the unit becomes hot or damaged. Used as intended, it’s safe and reliable.

LIFESABERS are made for display, posing, and photography with 1:12 scale action figures. Using the product outside of the included instructions may affect performance and eligibility for refunds or replacements.
